Switzerland-based Vertis Aviation has added an upgraded Boeing 727 VIP (often known as the Super 27 VIP) to its fleet.
The Boeing 727 VIP (registered ZS-PVX) will be operated by Fortune Air and based at Lanseria International Airport, South Africa.
The Boeing 727 addition complements Vertis’ existing fleet in the region which includes a Bombardier Global 6000, Bombardier Learjet 45 and AW139 helicopter.
The VIP airliner has 43 seats and has a range of up to 3,200nm. The aircraft is capable of serving routes across Africa and is also able to perform intercontinental flights for clients.
